The Apr. 25 carnival-like benefit for City Year Los Angeles, held at Sony Studios in Culver City, afforded a unique opportunity for young people to enjoy an abundance of foods, games and interactive booths, and at the same time, meet their heroes of film and television.

More guests were Amanda Righetti, Armie Hammer, Laura Marano, Vanessa Marano, Mehcad Brooks, Justin Baldoni, Katherine McNamara, AJ Michalka, Aly Michalka, Gethin Anthony, Nick Ballard, Ciara Bravo, Kaylee Bryant, Francesca Capiadi, Spencer Grammer and Beth Grant.

Still more were Jason Ritter, Chace Crawford, Nolan Gerard Funk, Amy Landecker, Matt Lauria, Laura Marano, Vanessa Marano, Eloise Mumford, Ethan Peck, Nicola Peltz, Will Peltz, Xosha Roquemore, Halston Sage, Ben Sherwood, Kevin Zegers, Colin Egglesfield, Meagan Good and more.

Lest anyone wonder about how the event has such enormous appeal to young people, here’s what event co-chair Stacy Snider said in a previous interview: “We designed the Spring Break fundraiser to appeal to teens and tweens and their families, so we can engage young people and inspire them,” she said, adding, “We invite celebrities that speak to their demographic so they’d come here and have a great time and see that service is important and service is cool.” Snider is co-chair of 20th Century Fox.
