Lionel Richie, Katie Couric, Tyrese Gibson face off at Global Gourmet Games

In a conversation during dinner, Gibson said that no sooner had he left fellow celebrants Vin Diesel and director F. And funny enough, although Couric had said before the games that she was confident in her knowledge of nutrition, she said she ended up answering most of the food questions wrong. (So did most everyone, myself included.)

Food questions aside, during the next few days, Couric was brilliant as moderator of a panel at the Global Conference on health priorities, as an interviewer of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and in conversation with Mary Hart during a session on “iconic women in media.”
