40 Photos of A Glamorous Russian-Style White Night LA Opera Opening Night
Here are 40 photos from the super-glamorous Russian-style White Night to celebrate the LA Opera Opening Sept. 17, which preceded “Eugene Onegin” and ended in an upbeat after-party, headed up by the LA Opera‘s Aria support group for young professionals.
Placido Domingo and Emmy Rossum teamed up to make the night special for an estimated 500 gala-goers.
They included production underwriters Milena and Milan Panic and Nancy and Barry Sanders; gala patrons Eva and Marc Stern, Harold and Geraldine Alden, Yuki and Alex Bouzari, Leslie and John Dornan, Lenore and Bernard Greenberg, Harold and Penny Ray, Milena and Milan Panic, Jane and Michael Eisner, Nancy and Barry Sanders, Carol and Warner Henry, Cat Jagger Pollon, Harriet Rose Bathurst Norman, Em Green and Christopher Walker; plus Laurence Fishburne, Gina Torres, the opera’s cast members and lots more guests.
