In anticipation of this month’s production of “Swan Lake” by the Los Angeles Ballet, Leslie Kavanaugh and Susan Rothenberg invited dance afficionados to an afternoon tea, a tour of LAB’s Brentwood facility and a preview of the ballet. Choreographed by LAB’s artistic directors Colleen Neary and Thordal Christensen, the production will continue through Mar. 31 at various venues throughout southern California.
The Feb. 21 tea also precedes LAB’s Swan Lake Gala, which will take place at the Montage in Beverly Hills on Mar. 25, and include selections from LAB’s Swan Lake ballet, cocktails and a gourmet dinner.
Among others enjoying afternoon tea were Joni Smith, Julie Spira, Ricki Ring, Bobbe Bramson, I.H. Sutnick, Patty Anderson, Elaine Doran, Sunday Taylor, Greer Saunders, Kim Bleich, Adrienne and Elliott Horwitch, and Sophia and Renato Balestra.
